Union of Multifunctional Cooperatives production Company of Organic Coffee (UCPCO), is composed of six base Cooperatives (Pablo Velásquez, Reynerio Tijerino, Georgino Andrade, Ernesto Che Guevara, Carlos Núñez, Arca de Noe).

Initially UCPCO was called APCO, Asociation of Organic Coffee Producers, then in 1996, by legalization processes of (less costs, faster), it changes name passing from association to Union Of Cooperative of Agricultural Organic Coffee Producers (UCPCO RL), being obtained as such, the legalization of the cooperative before the Work Department; in the same way was obtained the export license.

The mandate of UCPCO RL is, in the delegates of the base Cooperatives they add 36, these gather with their Coperative bases before of the Assembly of Delegates and they discuss the agenda to be treated and there they receive the orientation in base to the defense of interests of their Cooperatives and of UCPCO RL.

Mission

Endowing the associate of social security, offering them the basic conditions for their development, seeking to elevate standard of living of their members; for this UCPCO will use all the available resources whenever it is on behalf of the development of the organization
